Love and Happiness

Your wedding will probably be your most important event of your life so far.  You want a perfect day to remember and as a photographer it is important that I capture the various moments and have the skills to create appealing images so you can enjoy your memories to the full.  Like most other wedding photographers these days, I cover weddings in a reportage style where I look for candid moments.

My strength, however, is in taking romantic photographs, not just of you the bride and groom but also of your parents and grandparents and these images will frequently be in black and white to help emphasise the timeless love you all have for each other.  You can see some examples (Laura and Francis wedding) and also on my Engagement Photography page.  I enjoy reflecting love in photographs, know what makes someone look good (and what doesn't!) and will help you with posing to make you look your best.  Creating an image such as these is much more than aiming the camera and pressing the shutter button.

To make the day run well for both of us I will usually get to know you first with your Engagement photoshoot.  Here we will discuss your wedding and what you want from the photography and I will help with ideas and you will see how I interact with you during the photographing.  We need to feel at ease with each other so I feel comfortable with you but much more importantly, you will have confidence in me and my work when it comes to your wedding and know you will be enjoying great photographs for years to come.  I like to have at least two "meetings" as there is a fair amount to talk about including albums, the timetable of the day, where to take the photographs and so on.

I cover Worcestershire and Herefordshire within an hour's drive of Fromes Hill, situated halfway between Hereford and Worcester but can travel further if required.

Wedding Albums

Most families and newly married couples like to see their photographs in print.  After the initial excitement of posting images on social media websites there is something very satisfying when it comes to opening a photobook or an album, being very much more tactile than viewing images on a screen.

The market leading company I use for my albums is well established and successful and is used by many other photographers for their wedding photography.  There are many products and during our meetings I will talk about this and what albums you might want.

Many different types of cover are available (linen, leather, leatherette for example) with many colours and different paper choices with the main album I use.  There are also different sizes of album and a choice of having a quality box or not.

As part of the wedding package I design a small (9" x 6") album containing about twenty photographs of the day.  This album comes in a matching box which also contains a USB memory stick containing the photographs of the ceremony.

These photographs are yours (you are paying me for photographs after all!) and the files can be used for small prints and will be perfect for social media sites and so on.  The images will be fully edited and the minimum quantity, which will be discussed during one of our meetings before the day, will be put on the memory stick.  (I also keep backups of your photographs.)

This package will be included in the price of the wedding package and is also available for purchase if you want more than one copy.

This luxury album is in black leather and comes with a beautiful presentation box and the package exudes quality.

This album is in the same range as the black one above and has a leatherette cover instead and also a matching colour box.

And another, this time in a square format and with a red cover.

Of course, high quality albums are not for everyone so I also design and create photo books.  These come in various sizes and a choice of covers and boxes are available if wanted.  This example is a 14" x 10" book containing 80 pages and approximately 300 photographs.  The box comes in a variety of colours and ribbons.
